- Perform content assessment, classification, and organization of digital assets into a digital asset management system (DAM)
- Assign metadata and controlled vocabulary terms to photo and video assets to build and maintain an asset repository
- Maintain data integrity against established taxonomy & metadata models
- Ensure content is properly tagged for easy search and distribution
- Gain proficiency in DAM software and train to become administrator of software
- Develop training documentation to instruct global users on DAM software
- Assist in image review process to ensure optimum resolution, image size, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Run routine quality control checks on processed assets
- Evaluate assets and routinely build selection of assets to be featured
- Meet or exceed production goals on a regular basis, while maintaining a low error rate
- Participates in developing, maintaining and continuously improving the digital asset workflow and process
- Supports internal clients, super-users in software, by assisting and training in the management of assets: access, usage, metadata application, delivery and distribution requests
Support internal distribution requests by aiding in asset searches by locating and distributing files with correct digital rights permissions
Qualifications:
- Experience level: 0-3 years
- Strong English language skills
- Ability to work independently on tasks, with exceptional attention to accuracy, consistency, and detail
- Works collaboratively and welcomes constructive criticism to improve his/her product
- Communicates clearly and professionally in both written form and verbally
- Proficient with Excel; Adobe Photoshop editing skills a plus
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, flexible, and professional
- Exercises impeccable judgment when dealing with highly confidential information
