We are recruiting for Associate Consultant / Consultant in the Supply Chain & Operations Team.
In this team, your responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Work as an independent contributor to drive the supply chain optimization projects for our clients primarily (but not limited to) in the domain of Supply Planning / Demand Planning / Control Tower / Integrated Business Planning / Inventory Optimization.
- Identify and collect data, such as historical sales, inventory, and other operations/supply chain data from different sources (databases, excel sheets, emails, etc).
- Work closely with Solution Architects to develop functional and technical solution designs.
- Configure the o9 solution as per the design to solve deep operations/supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring systems.
- Use mathematical models (predictive and statistical methods) and simulations to analyze and manipulate large data sets to provide business insights to customers.
- Create and execute workflow and data analytics test-cases to document and solve issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams, IT and business stakeholders, to ensure successful planning and execution of projects.
Prior experience in any of the below:
- Deep understanding of Manufacturing, Retail and/or Distribution Industry business or solutions. Understanding of Supply Chain Planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning, and S&OP is a big plus. Recommending improvements to rally performance and reduce costs
- Knowledge in o9 Reference Models is a plus.
- Discover the most cost-effective solution and execute benchmarking activities
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
- Languages: SQL, o9 IBPL, MDX, T-SQL or similar; Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R, Python, SAS, or similar is desirable.
- The incumbent will get an exposure to work on other domains of supply chain including but not limited to Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Operations & Supply Chain Analytics
Job Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- The candidate must have 3-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) with ability to perform Analysis from large data set. Basic understanding supply chain planning concepts such as Demand Management, Distribution and Master Planning, S&OP, etc.
- Experience as an Implementation or Functional Consultant is a plus
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Ability to create dashboards, models, trackers, forms etc. would be an added advantage
- Strategically and commercially minded
- Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills
