2. Development, implementation and management of the processes and tools necessary to achieve the above.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Portfolio Financial Management is responsible for management, consolidation reporting of the financial status of the project portfolio (project accounting). This role is responsible for all aspects of delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization. This position partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of complete solution to the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Development of common processes and tools (across all programmes) for;

- Cost Accruals,

- Actuals capturing, booking and validation of Cost and Benefits,

- Cost and Benefit Forecasting, Planning

- Monthly reporting (for both individual programmes and overall)

- Adhoc reporting requirements (logging, auctioning and tracking).

Development and implementation of processes for validation of actual costs and benefits that are practical and fit for purpose, and acceptable from an external audit view.

- Collaborate with leadership to monitor and control actual spending against approved budgeted spending levels

- Provide leadership and Business Vertical stakeholders with regular reporting regarding project status including project level financial variance analysis (including recording and analyzing substantiations)

- Act as liaison between PMO and the Accounting and IT Finance departments

Required Qualification

- Ability to work in global environment and interact with global stakeholders.

- Understanding of Banking environment including IT, Operations and banking processes is desirable.

- Define and develop global standards, processes and related tools for managing and monitoring the financial health of projects.

- Strong project Management skills and understanding of portfolio management process

Travel- Primary work location would be Bangalore and candidate should be ready to travel across India and aboard (if required). UK work visa is a preference.

Mandates for Portfolio & Financial Management:

- Education - Candidate should be an MBA from Tier 1 Premium College or Tier 1 or from Tier 2 College

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and from Reputed firms

General Experience and Budget Level:

A. Consultant Level (2 -3yrs+)

Consultant Level (3yrs - 6 Yrs)

AM Level (6 - 8 yrs)
