Category Ops Associate
Description :
Roles & Responsibilities :- Coordinate with Category managers and prepare effective strategies for product lines and incorporate all cross functional activities.
- Perform analysis and implement all retail promotions on line and perform all proofing and data entry jobs for brand category.
- Administer all supplier associated activities and evaluate effective tracking of same to analyze all performance of business metrics.
- Provide an effective interface for various categories and recommend improvement strategies for all customer profits.
- Maintain and update knowledge for all business planning processes and associate category tools.
- Perform regular analysis for all industry trends and competitor related activities and recommend resolution for same.
- Prepare all required paperwork and select appropriate vendor and provide certificate of insurance to various categories.
- Administer all operations request and perform research on various out of stocks.
- Monitor all strategies for new products and programs and implement same for all category elements.
- Collaborate with category manager and field operations to ensure effective implementation of all new products and programs for marketing departments.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations departments and develop efficient promotion strategies for all categories.
- Develop and implement various product assortment processes for direct channels and provide support to same if required.
- Prepare and analyze all sales reports on a monthly and quarterly basis..
- Assisting with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages..
- Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes.
- Monitoring website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to site updates.
- Teaming up with our SEO Specialists to increase the online presence of our website.
- Scheduling and communicating intensive site maintenance, as needed.
- Analysing sales-related data to predict future sales and concomitant stock requirements.
Skills :- Strong written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office / MS Excel
