Associate - Capital Markets - Real Estate Advisory - Investment Analysis Team

Role Brief:

Looking for a young, smart and versatile person to be a part of the Investment Analysis team. The position incumbent is required to assist the investment team in sourcing and executing capital market transactions.

The position will be based in Bangalore and the incumbent will report into Associate Director - Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Source leads for capital market transactions

- Conduct meetings with stakeholders and source investment opportunities

- Analyze market data and comparable transactions

- Conduct market surveys

- Develop financial models

- Prepare information memorandums and teasers for the opportunities

- Review project documents namely JDAs, Sale agreements

- Understand the regulatory constraints regarding the project

- Follow-up with investment partners on the transaction

- Good communication skills - verbal as well as written is a must for this role

- High learnability and analytical abilities is a must

- Assertiveness, collaboration and self-motivation are the key competencies for this role

- Should possess abilities to work with stringent timelines

- Should be able to demonstrate abilities to keep up to date with competitor information and market trends; identify business opportunities for the organization; demonstrates financial awareness

Education & experience

- MBA in Finance/Civil Engineer/Architect with an inclination in finance

- 0-3 years of related experience (finance, analysis, research)

- Experience in appraisal/valuation services industry highly desirable but not required

- Microsoft Office skills

- Real estate related internship strongly preferred

- Willing to travel
