Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager with a proven track record in IT Consulting/Software Services Sales.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in managing and leading a sales team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a leading software services company and take full responsibility for driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Establish sales objectives, set sales targets, and track team and individual performance against these targets.
- Foster a sales-driven culture within the team, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and a customer-centric approach.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies to expand the company's client base.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify business opportunities and provide market insights to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business partnerships.
- Monitor sales pipelines, track leads, and ensure timely and accurate periodic reporting of sales activities and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering, with an MBA.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT Consulting/Software services Sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets with at least 3+ years of global delivery model experience.
- Demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
- Strong experience working with Clients from across the globe with a focus on North America and Europe.
- Deep understanding of the software services landscape including UI/UX Design Services, Cloud Native App Development, Legacy App Modernisations, Enterprise Application Development, SaaS Platforms, Data Sciences/Data Engineering, Generative AI market trends, and customer needs.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Technology Trends, and Market Needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Demonstrated negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
