Business Development Associate (US Market)
- Developing an engagement strategy for students who are still early in their overseas education journey
- Organizing and executing forums which enable in-person sessions with prospective students and/or their parents
- Proactively reaching out to students and prospective borrowers (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) to educate applicants on the benefits of an MPOWER loan
- Exploring and securing new partnership channels such as Universities or an affiliate network
- Understanding MPOWER's product line and all features including loan terminology and calculations to ensure borrowers and partners make informed decisions
- Leading partnership development activities including performance, planning, and follow up
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or higher
- At least 2-3 years of business development/marketing in a high-touch, fast-paced environment
- Understanding of banking, lending, financial services or personal finance with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to move between strategic thinking and details
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Foreign language is a plus
- A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must!
