Associate/AVP - Equity Research - Banking Captive

We are currently hiring for one of our Banking Captive at Bangalore India.

Job Description :

Position Responsibilities :

- Tracking all the major economic indicators of the EU region and analyzing their possible impact on financial markets.

- Understanding the various inter-linkages between the macro indicators internal to the country as well as external.

- Having a good knowledge of databases, handle a lot of data, create charts and use various statistical methods of forecasting the same.

- Write reports, commentaries and compile news roundups.

- Create and work on Econometric models

- Handle ad hoc research requests as per requirements

Experience /skills :

- Prior relevant experience of pure macro-economic research having strong domain capabilities

- Eye for detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively and on time

- Advanced Excel, Eviews

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of independent thinking and approach

- Preferred knowledge of database tools - Haver, Reuters, Bloomberg and other financial databases; various central bank and statistical websites

Education and Experience:

- Master's degree in economics with 3-4 years of relevant experience
