Associate/AVP - Equity Derivatives - IIT/IIM

We have excellent opening of Associate/AVP in equity derivative trading domain with leading investment bank. Candidate will be part of equity trading desk in which he/she will be involved in pricing and developing trading strategies specifically for equity derivative products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role: Associate/AVP

Experience: 2 - 8 years

Location: Mumbai

Salary: As per industry std.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- To assist the equity trading desk which is the market maker for Asian Indices and Single Stocks

- Run quantitative and technical analysis to develop trading and hedging strategies

- Pricing of exotic options for the Structured Products Trading Desk in HK

- Develop option market data monitors to assist the management and the traders analyze the trades booked/missed and the current risk profiles

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have experience within a financial services environment and should demonstrate the following:

- Strong academic background..

- Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to work well under pressure & always with a professional demeanour.

- The ability to identify process efficiencies, suggest improvements and implement where feasible.

- Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management.

- Proactive in terms of business development and effective communication to deliver projects.

- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritising multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines.

The following will be considered a significant advantage:

- Candidates from IIT/IIM with relevant experience will be preferred

- Prior work experience in a trading environment.

- Knowledge of the front to back segregation of duties within an investment bank.

- Equities system knowledge.
