Job Description:
As an Income Tax - Search & Seizure Litigation Associate/Assistant Manager, your primary role will be to provide expert guidance and representation in income tax litigation cases stemming from search and seizure actions. You will be responsible for advising clients, preparing legal strategies, and representing them in legal proceedings. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Legal Representation:
Representing clients in income tax litigation cases where search and seizure actions are central issues.
Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and petitions related to litigation matters.
Conducting legal research and analysis to build strong cases for clients.
Client Advisory:
Advising clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential courses of action in search and seizure-related income tax cases.
Maintaining clear and open communication with clients throughout the legal process.
Case Preparation:
Gathering and analyzing evidence, documents, and information pertinent to search and seizure actions.
Collaborating with legal teams to develop comprehensive legal strategies for litigation cases.
Court Proceedings:
Representing clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Presenting arguments and evidence in a compelling and persuasive manner.
Negotiating settlements or resolutions when appropriate.
Legal Research:
Staying updated on changes in income tax laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Applying current legal knowledge to litigation strategies and client representation.
Qualifications:
Lawyer ( LLB or LLM ) with a minimum of 3 and maximum 8 years of experience in income tax litigation, with a strong focus on search and seizure cases.
