Job Description:

The candidate will be a key part of the structured credit/private credit team, collaborating with the Head of Private Credit to manage the overall portfolio, evaluate investment opportunities, perform financial analysis, prepare reports and presentations, and support daily portfolio management and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in structured/private credit, fixed income, real estate, REITs, and INVITs.

- Analyse financial statements and business models, develop and work on financial models.

- Understand structured debt/corporate lending deals and conduct risk assessments.

- Track financial performance relative to market performance and update management.

- Maintain MIS and track portfolio performance efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Masters in Finance from a Tier 1 institute and/or CFA/CA.

- 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in credit evaluation/underwriting in performing credit or special situation financing.

- Strong analytical skills, risk assessment abilities, attention to detail, and persistence in research or diligence processes.

- Excellent skills in fundamental corporate credit analysis, balance sheet analysis, and financial modelling.

- Basic knowledge of IBC, RBI, and SEBI regulations.

- Proficiency in analytical skills, financial modelling, underwriting, company research, and investment memo preparation.
