Associate/Analyst - Operational Risk - Center Of Excellence - Bank

Join one of the large banking & financial services group as part of the COE team for Operational Risk and provide forward looking, value adding capability to achieve a robust risk management culture.

- The team supports global risk function across all products, processes, and business lines.

- The member will be responsible for performing risk identification, analysis, monitoring, and reporting for operational key risks and scenario analysis in support of risk capital decisions.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include :

- Performing business analysis of complex processes and issues (current or emerging) that have impacts across the firm

- Support deliverables required by Operational Risk Management program (risk monitoring, risk reviews, risk analysis, risk reports, scenario analysis) in the management and measurement of Operational Risk as well as assessment of capital adequacy.

- Ad-hoc participation in sensitive risk issues, special projects, risk process, tools

- Supporting building a risk aware culture, developing and delivering training

- Strong team player with demonstrated collaboration skills, ability to work in a global organization

- Creative problem solving and ability to come out with solutions through multiple approaches.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following :

- Master's Degree in Finance, MBA / CA

- Relevant professional certifications are advantageous

- Solid understanding of the operational risks and controls of bank
