AVP/VP - Business Development
- The role is the primary leader responsible for overall revenue growth in defined set of verticals. Key responsibilities include leading, developing & owning the client acquisition strategy, aligning and execution of sales effort, driving effective sales management processes & growing revenues across the full breadth of offerings.
Job Responsibilities :
- P&L responsibility to manage a Sales Team focused on winning new business, renewing and expanding revenue across large complex organizations.
- Inspire and motivate Sales Team on a daily basis and manage the sales process /day to day operations of the team.
- Determine appropriate tactics to drive urgency in sales cycle
- Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts to senior management. Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results.
- Build relationships with clients/prospects through demonstration of in-depth client knowledge, understanding of specific client needs/priorities and mapping of offerings for client.
- Quota responsibility of revenue value within a defined set of verticals, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
- 12+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience preferably in research & consulting services
- Ability to meet personal and team sales growth goals - monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within large organizations.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
- Proficient in sales planning with ability to identify and close new sales opportunities
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
