Assistant Vice President - Warehouse Development Investment

Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies specifically for warehouse development projects in India, ensuring alignment with the fund's overall objectives.

Deal Origination & Analysis:

- Proactively source and identify high-potential investment opportunities through market research, leveraging industry relationships, and building a robust network.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, feasibility studies, and due diligence for each potential investment.

Transaction Management:

- Lead the negotiation, structuring, and execution of investment transactions for warehouse developments.

- Coordinate effectively with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure seamless transaction closure.

Portfolio Management & Risk Mitigation:

- Oversee and manage the performance of the existing investment portfolio within the warehouse development space.

- Implement strategies to optimize portfolio returns and proactively mitigate potential risks.

Relationship Building:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry, including developers, brokers, investors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 8-12 years of demonstrably successful experience in real estate investment, preferably with a focus on warehouse development and logistics sector.

- Proven track record of identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investment deals.

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with expertise in feasibility studies and due diligence processes.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred)
