AVP/VP Investments - Private Equity

The Investment Manager position will be geographically located in Mumbai, India. Key responsibilities include :

- New deal development and analysis - validation of industry thesis, development of investment angles, competitive industry and market analysis leading to a recommendation.

- Transaction execution - financial modelling and analysis, industry analysis, assisting in documentation and transaction structuring, leading diligence in specific areas

- Portfolio management - day to day monitoring of portfolio companies, following of global industry trends and competitive landscape, analysis and preparation for board meetings

Key attributes of the successful candidates would be :

- Conduct extensive company and industry due diligence

- 4-6 years of experience working with a Tier 1 Investment Banking platform

- Create detailed financial modelling

- Drafting and review of term sheet and letters of intent

- Preparation of memos and information for investment committee

- Review of transaction documents and transaction structuring

- Intensive tracking of sector deals and developments

- Keeping abreast with important news, regulatory changes and macro environmental factors

- Work with the portfolio company management to help drive value creation initiatives
