Strong knowledge of the Investment Markets financial reporting and accounting is required. Knowledge of U.K/ US GAAP and regulatory compliance including SEC and EDGAR rules is required. Knowledge of current financial reporting platform products in the market, such as Fund Suite SX, Confluence and Report Builder, as well as competitive products is a plus.

- Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted. Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.

- Must be able to work both independently and in close coordination with the project team, the financial reporting line of business and R.R. Donnelley through decision making, setting strategies and advising of solutions.

- Problem Solving:

- Must be able to solve day to day problems of team. Must be able to understand client expectations and help them solve their problems. Must be able to consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions. Must develop a deep understanding of reports generated from the external accounting system utilized by the financial reporting team in order to solution problems associated with mapping and the platform builds.

Nature & Area of Impact:


- This position will have significant impact on the business. It is an integral part of meeting the financial reporting deliverables to our clients. Delays or poor quality will put substantial strain on the on-shore team in meeting client expectations and regulatory deadlines.

Interactions / Interpersonal Skills:

- Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear and concise manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. Able to explain programs policies and procedures in language that is understood by others.

- Preparer should be competent enough to communicate clearly with various internal and external stakeholders.

- Preparer should aware of technical accounting and regulatory developments impacting on the accounts preparation & reconciliation function, required for discussing various technical issues with onshore.

- Preparer should exhibit great attention to detail, as work supports various region financial statements.

Job Qualifications: Indicate the minimum and preferred education and experience for this job and any licenses and certifications required

Minimum Education: Graduate in Commerce or Economics from any reputed College or university is required (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree). Preferred Education: CA, CPA, CFA, MBA

Minimum Experience:

- 8-10 years of relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

Preferred Experience: 4-5 years of mutual fund accounting/ financial reporting experience

Minimum Language Skills: Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Good at MSOffice

Preferred Language Skills: Analytical skill, logical thinking & sound system knowledge

Other: Flexible to work in night Shifts.
