AVP/ Vice President - Digital Marketing
Role Overview :
The person will play an active role in executing and managing our SEM & SMM campaigns, including but not limited to keyword research & analysis, creation of compelling ad copies, competitive analysis, campaign build outs and campaign management. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of having successfully handling a budget of over USD 1 Million per quarter via multiple UAC campaigns on Google Play, Install & Conversion campaigns on Facebook, Managing Traffic via ad networks & publishers and running Re-targeting campaigns on Facebook & Google, and optimizing the purchase funnel.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Drive high quality and high volume app installs across Android apps via multiple acquisition channels (Facebook, Google Play, Ad Networks).
2. Have reasonable experience in managing ad networks right from on-boarding, legal & compliance checks, operational & logistical support and driving traffic volume at optimal budget via them.
3. Have reasonable experience in running APK (out of Play Store) installs.
4. Develop strategies that increase app downloads, in-app engagement and conversion
5. Defining success metrics (KPIs) and reporting needs for campaigns (pre & post)
6. Perform Keywords Research & Analysis, Website Analysis and Competitor analysis to generate various lists of targeted keywords for campaigns
7. Generate relevant creative ad copies including text ads, site links and content for display ads and native ads on mobile
8. Drive a huge volume of organic traffic which increases month-on-month via a good understanding of SEO & ASO
9. Help the brand gain a positive outlook on the web through relevant experience in ORM which includes social sentiment curation across channels like Google Play, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and blog forums like Quora & Reddit.
10. Enhance the lifetime value of the customer via a good understanding of running re-engagement campaigns via SMS, Email Marketing & Push Notifications via a data-driven approach.
11. Have a sound experience in Fraud Management techniques across ad networks and publishers.
12. Competition trend mapping - Identify product opportunities through competitive research and testing.
Qualifications :
- Overall 7 to 10 years experience of which minimum of 5-7 years in digital media planning and execution on the client side, preferably for a start-up
- Proven capability of driving large scale mobile customer acquisition through digital marketing
- Experience of creating and managing UAC for E-commerce companies and PPC search marketing
- Should have understanding of conversion tracking and analytics
- Knowledge of website analysis using different analytics tools including Google Analytics
- Proficient with tools such as keyword tool, traffic estimator etc.
- Work effectively in teams in a challenging start-up setup
- Prior SEM experience working in a ecommerce with Google Certifications would be a plus
