Assistant Vice President - Sales & Network Expansion Head All India
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales network strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market expansion and penetration.
- Establish short-term and long-term sales objectives, and work with the sales team to achieve them.
2. Sales Network Management:
- Build, Manage and oversee the company's sales network, including direct sales teams, distributors, resellers, and other partners.
- Ensure that all network partners are aligned with the company's sales strategies and objectives.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of the sales network and take corrective actions where necessary.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, including regional managers and sales representatives, to enhance their performance and career growth.
- Foster a positive and motivating environment within the sales network to drive high performance and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the sales team is well-equipped with product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer management skills.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Address customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is incorporated into product offerings.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on sales performance, network health, and market conditions to senior management.
- Utilize CRM tools and other data analytics platforms to monitor sales activities and network effectiveness.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, budget plans, and performance reports.
6. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Identify potential new markets and sales opportunities.
- Adapt the sales network strategy based on market intelligence and changing business conditions.
7. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.
- Monitor expenditures and optimize costs across the sales network.
8. Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure that all sales activities and network operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Implement and enforce guidelines to maintain the integrity of the sales process.
