One of our leading investment banking clients in Gurugram is looking for AVP Role who has strong work experience in derivative Collateral Management.

Location : Gurugram

Job Details:

- Margin Management - responsible for processing Margin calls

- New Business - Involved in the on boarding of new clients and New Product Review

- Funding & Optimisation - Optimisation of Collateral posted / received from Clients, ensuring all inventory is well utilised

- Collateral Deed Mgt & Reporting - Monitoring data integrity and metrics reporting to senior management

- Cash Mgt & Reconciliations - Process cash adjustments and monthly reconciliation of Collateral books

- Initiatives - Drive change and review the impact of new regulation to Collateral

Role Description :

- Managing a team of client service representatives who are responsible for bilateral OTC margining

- Key escalation point for Margin team and main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

- Monitor the firm's collateralisation requirements arising from the trading activities of those counterparties with margin documentation in place

- Responsible for working closely with technology partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness of systems and data.

- Perform analysis and present data to senior management for decision making

- Negotiate collateral exchanges / substitutions with counterparties

- Preparation / Delivery of strategic planning for the team

- Responsible for the on boarding of new products

- Responsible for ensuring team adheres to all internal policies, procedures and external regulatory requirements

- Responsible for managing risk aspects including any internal & external audits.

- Responsible for various Industry Initiatives

- Staff development and appraisal process

Required Skills :

Essential Skills :

- Experience of working in Financial Services, especially Investment Banking

- Knowledge of Middle Office and Back Office processing (trade capture, confirmation, settlements, lifecycle management, etc

- A self motivated, structured and logical thinker

- Partnership and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Presentation skills, able to summarise messages

- Proven track record of delivering projects to plan and ability to manage multiple priorities

- Strong assertiveness, listening, influencing and diplomacy skills (at all levels)

- Ability to run effective meetings, workshops and off-sites with different levels of management

- Analytical and strong problem-solving abilities

- Attention to detail, delivering high quality output

- Strong controls background with previous experience of implementing and maintaining key business controls

System Skills :

- Competent with MS Core Products: Word, Excel & PowerPoint

- Competent OR have working knowledge of industry applications: Margin Sphere, Arcadia Soft, Tri Optima, etc

Nice to have :

- Familiarity with markets products ideally in more than one asset class

- Product Knowledge: Collateral Management, Client Valuations

- Knowledge of structured business analysis (e.g. 6 Sigma)

- A good understanding of financial markets documentation (ISDA, GMRA IFEMA, PSA)

- Systems skills in MS Project and Visio
