Hiring for an Assistant Vice President - Operations Risk Management with a Top Brand.
Location: Permanent WFH.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the operational risk incident management process to guarantee that timelines, integrity, and quality control are maintained
2. Operational loss database maintenance and root cause analysis
3. Operational risk reporting, KRI development/ trend analysis, and publishing risk dashboards.
4. Periodic risk control self-assessment (RCSA)
5. Responsible for completion of risk assessment for different functions and developing risk mitigation action plans -
6. Business continuity planning and testing
7. Operational readiness for the launch of new life insurance products
8. Work together with another organizational line of defense (Compliance, Internal Audit, Information Security
9. Stay abreast of current industry standards
Qualifications & Competencies:
1. At least 7+ years of relevant work experience (Risk, Audit, Operations) in the "Operations" domain(first-line or second-line function)
2. Candidates with some work experience from the Fintech company will be preferred
3. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, etc)
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office(especially Advanced Excel, Powerpoint)
5. Strong attention to detail, strong oral and written communication
6. Strong project management skills and tolerance for ambiguity
7. Ability to develop and implement automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
8. Knowledge of different types of life insurance products and processes
9. Relevant qualification in risk management or equivalent qualification
