Role - AVP - Operations ( General Insurance)
Location - Mumbai
Roles and responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and execute operations- strategies with operational excellence
- Design a lean, cost effective, aggressive and customer centric operations model
- Align operations to the business needs and partner's business model
- Set, manage and monitor financial budgets and operational SLAs using defined matrices
- Plan and lead automation projects and outsourcing mix
- Design business excellence focused processes
- Manage quality control and operational risks
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders on new businesses, initiatives, processes and system requirements
- Providing regular updates and dashboards to management and partners on state of affairs
- Lead the operations team, both back end operations and branch operations, to ensure smooth business as usual
- Experience of managing general insurance products is preferred
Education & Qualifications & Skills:-
- PG / MBA with min. 12-15 years work experience in an insurance operation, out of which recent 4-5 year's shall be in a lead role
- Strong leadership skills of leading big teams
- Strong analytical skill
- Excellent people management skills
- Experience of in house and outsourced operational models
- Ability to go in detail and achieve perfection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative management style
