Assistant Vice President - Operational Risk

Job Description :

- The Global ID Administration (GIDA) organization is a large global organization within CISO. GIDA manages access for internal Citi employees and increasingly for external Citi clients who use Citi applications. GIDA works in partnership with other functions of CISO to build appropriate security architecture in new apps and supports large business-driven technology projects related to information security issues.

- This role reports in region to the GIDA AsiaPac Regional Risk & Control Lead, with direction from GIDA Risk & Control Head. Primarily responsible for supporting GIDA with various risk and control key areas of focus in compliance with Citi policies and procedures (incl. Information Security, Continuity of Business, Records Management, Third Party Management, Cross Border Clearance, Manager's Control Assessment (MCA), Issue Management) and local regulations along with Project Management responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

- Provide support based on risk/control requirements for processes across GIDA Service Delivery (SD) and Global Process Owner (GPO) teams

- Work with GIDA Managers to identify, develop and implement control solutions to ensure adherence to company standards, compliance requirements and best practices guidelines

- Work with GIDA Managers and Risk & Control team to manage internal/external audit engagements requiring GIDA participation

- Working knowledge or willingness to learn new policies/procedures and conduct training and awareness

- Support content and design updates to the GIDA Risk & Control SharePoint

- Coordination of risk reporting input to senior management presentations

- Execute on continuous improvement/optimization efforts of existing processes and procedures

- Serve as a Risk & Control partner to regional GIDA Site Heads and service delivery teams

- Initiate process changes and improvements based on Lean methodology

- Aid in guiding complex projects, utilizing pertinent tools and methodologies

- Create, track and complete Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound (SMART) goals for projects and initiatives

- Utilize complex Microsoft Office tools to create links between workflows with different formats

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/PG  Degree

- Minimum of 10 years of professional, diverse experience across the finance industry, functions, and businesses

- Ability to break down communication barriers and influence peers / partners to take action necessary to make decisions and achieve goals

- Excellent team player with experience in building and managing relationships across geographies and functions

- Proven ability to prioritize business objectives and effectively manage multiple projects through to timely benefit realization

- Proven problem solver, self-motivated, results-oriented, and ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with different functional areas to get the job done

- Strong, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Strong ability to work independently, handle short timelines, manage conflicting priorities and execute efficiently and effectively

- High level of attention to detail with a commitment to quality

- Takes ownership of his/her work

- Previous experience in similar role is preferred
