Assistant Vice President - Legal
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent should be proficient in legal drafting (Lending Documents), research and negotiations with counterparties and would be required to work in close coordination with the Bank's business team members and external counsel engaged by the Bank and those acting for the client.
- Needs to have working knowledge of banking, finance laws, companies act, contract act, transfer of property act and FEMA.
- The incumbent should be able to independently carry-on day-to-day work as part of the legal team and handle communication with clients and external counsels.
- Candidates with previous experience in bank/financial institutions or top tier law firms would be preferred having working experience on financing and security documents including mortgage, pledge, hypothecation, STA etc pertaining to advances under sole banking, multiple banking, syndication and consortium banking arrangement.
Job Specification:
Work Experience: 8-13 years PQE
Qualification: Preferably BA LLB/BBA LLB and CS qualification is an added benefit.
