The person shall be responsible for undertaking regulatory compliances relating to SEBI intermediary regulations and the Companies Act. The key responsibilities shall include:
- Manage applicable regulatory compliances and interaction with regulators including merchant banking regulations including any other regulations required for a public debt issuance.
- Ensuring compliance with the documents filed by the Company in relation to merchant banking for public debt issuance
- Should keep him abreast with the latest regulatory changes
- Timely preparation and submission of reports with Board of Directors and Regulators
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices
- Maintaining secretarial records and corporate law compliances under the Companies Act
- Review of agreements including NDAs, mandates, leave and license agreements, transaction documents, etc
- Creation and/or implementation of various policies required by the Company
- Supporting business on legal queries
- Abreast with All SEBI regulations including MB, SB, Listing Regulations etc. relevant Companies Rules & Companies Act.
- Provide compliance training and awareness programs to employees to ensure they understand and adhere to compliance requirements
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to the board of directors, highlighting key compliance issues and recommendations for improvement
- Any other task/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
