Looking at Qualified Chartered Accountants Only with 10+ years of Post Qualification Experience and part of the Internal Audit function involved in both implementing, executing and managing a team of internal auditors.
Job Purpose:
Provide strategic direction to the Group's Internal Audit function so as to implement and execute the audit plan and provide assurance to the management on other functions of the organization. This will be part of the Corporate Global Internal Audit Team.
Location : Mumbai
Travel Requirement: Moderate (Domestic & International) - 90 - 120 days in an year
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Develop and maintain IA policies
2) Develop strategic and risk based audit plans in consultation with the Audit Committee
3) Prepare and communicate the audit engagement plans to the relevant stakeholders
4) Manage and review the internal audit engagement outcome
5) Challenge current working practices and improve internal risk controls in internal audit assignments
6) Discuss and present the audit reports to the auditee and the management
7) Monitor stakeholder's action plans for implementation progress
8) Ensure that internal audit staff is properly supervised, delivers on audit expectations /investigatory work with planned approach and within defined timelines
Academic Qualification : CA with post qualification and relevant exp of 10 yrs at least.
Professional Qualification :
- 10-12 years of auditing experience including 7 - 8 years in managerial position
- Independent, analytical and positive mind, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with people at different levels
- Conversant with Risk based audit approach, risk assessments and have flair for developing/using automated audit tools
- Familiarity with Oracle applications, PeopleSoft & Audit analytical tools (ACL)
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- Command over MS Excel, Word and Power point
- Exposure to Audit workflow applications would be an advantage
Other Skill Sets required:
a) Knowledge of current auditing practices and trends
b) Supervisory and managerial skills
