AVP - HR - Mumbai
- The objective of the role is to drive the people systems and policies for the organization in order to establish innovative HR practices in the company to enable building a performance driven culture.
- Development of Business Plans and departmental budgets
- Develop the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) by focusing on the work culture, professional exposure, learning and development and benefits & pay.
- Responsible for working closely with top management and department heads to identify HR priorities and coordinate the execution of the same
- Ensure implementation of a comprehensive HR policy framework across the employee life cycle: recruitment, induction, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, career and succession planning for employees across MGL
- Plan and manage Performance Management Program for all levels
- Ensure completion of process from Goal Setting to assessment & moderation to Increments as per agreed timelines for all levels
- Develop a succession plan for all critical positions across the organization
- Plan & execute learning and development needs in alignment with business needs and talent development
- Oversee ISO 9001:2015, internal & external audits
- Implement mechanisms to ensure efficient delivery of administrative services
- Oversee Contract Labour Management
- Develop and drive standardization of IR policies, practices and initiatives to build harmonious labour - management relationship
- LTS
- Ensure compliances under the various labour law statutes (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Gratuity Act, Contract Labour Act, ESI Act etc.) are adhered
- Instil a performance culture in the organization through driving timely goal setting, monitoring, performance review and feedback.
Ideal Candidate :
- Full time MBA graduates (HR Specialization) from Tier 1 institutes with minimum 22 years' experience in Strategic HR, IR and Transactional HR
- Age of the candidate should not exceed 52 years
- Should be willing to work out of Mumbai.
- Should have good fluency in English, Hindi, Marathi.
- Should have good experience in handling IR related issues + LTS.
- Should have experience dealing with multiple unions
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes
- Should have good knowledge of Industrial and Labour laws
- Should have good experience in OD Initiatives in organizations of repute.
- Should have Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge on general commercial and corporate laws
- Should have handled the entire gamut of HR
- Experience in IR is mandatory. Experience of having done Long Term Settlement with Labour Union is desirable. Handling of multiple recognized/ unrecognized Labour Union.
- Experience in handling large workforce of secondary manpower
- Candidates with experience in sectors like manufacturing, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas and Power
