Job Description - AVP HR :
Brief :
- We are looking for an individual who can take the HR leadership position in a fast-growing organisation. It is currently a 120-member strong with a varied team working across Technology, Product, Sales, Content, Ops and Marketing. Should be someone who has worked across the HR function either at growth stage tech companies or at a place with an excellent HR function.
Role : Taking ownership of the HR function and designing the complete employee experience as we grow as an organisation
The key areas of work :
- Setup basic HR processes and ensure they are followed with high efficiency
- Best practices in organisational structure design, identifying gaps in current organisation and helping leaders across different teams fill these gaps
- Collecting ongoing feedback from employees and keeping them motivated towards business goals
- Better designing of induction and training process for new hires
- Setting up and running a quarterly performance review process
Requirements :
1. Experience of 5+ years in HR with exposure to various functions within the field. This is a HR generalist role only.
2. Desire to build something from scratch and take complete ownership of designing and implementing processes across the organisation
3. Solid problem-solving skills - the ability to clearly define a problem and focus on designing solutions which are scalable and are technology driven
4. Outstanding communication skills
5. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and an unstructured environment
6. MBA from Top B-Schools / HR Schools like TISS, XLRI etc. Experience at a growth stage start-up will be a plus
