Assistant Vice President - Global Management Information Reporting - BFS

The Global Management Information (GMI) function is responsible for providing a comprehensive suite of MI to a number of key consumers covering Operations, Front Office and external regulators across all of the Global Markets sites, in addition to supply of the information, the GMI function provides value through insightful analysis and working with the business lines to ensure a forward looking MI and data strategy is in place.

The AVP role is based in Bangalore. The underlying principles of the team are to:

- To be the primary partner for Operations in the development, delivery and analysis of Management Information

- To drive a culture of data driven decision making and implementation of strategic transformation programme through projects

- To ensure data provision and availability is prioritised at a strategic level across asset classes

- To promote the use of standardised tools, techniques and analysis methodologies across Operations

- Ensure greater governance and quality around the all change requests and projects

- Experience/Qualification

- Ideally 8 - 11 years- of experience in Control/Risk reporting, Ops & regulatory reporting.

- A degree in banking / financial / management / business administration / accounting exposure

- Advance skills in Excel/VBA, MS Access & SQL

- Experience on BI tools such as Qlik View/Cogno's is advantageous

- Experience on cost allocation/cost management reporting is advantageous
