- By salary budget for AVP is 24-25-26-27 LPA Fixed + annual performance bonus

- Active management of the GFX(Cash & Options) Change portfolio for sites Bangalore, KL & Manila, current and future.

This role has a global reach and has significant exposure, the incumbents primary goals are to ;

- Ensure GSC management/delivery of change budgets, specifically relating to GFX.

- Change skills (Business Analyst/ Project Management), requirements gathering & design skills are essential as is business knowledge of Market Operations and a proven track record of having delivered Change in cross-organisational/geography business or technology change in Operations. GFX (Cash/Options) process knowledge is required.

- This is an individual contributor role expected to help drive the strategic change agenda and the book of work for KL/Manila/Bangalore relating to GFX. The individual would be eventually expected to lead or play major roles in global Change Engagements or technology related projects for GFX.

- Active stakeholder management and partnership with GBM/GMO senior stakeholders and their delegates - this will be a key criteria for the success of the GFX Change Programme and related automation/restructuring

- Governance of change and driving related forums and delivery committees

- Active role in CTB budget setting and utilizing the budget to optimal effect

- Be a full and active partner of the IT team - this team is based across multiple geographies

- Represent GFX in senior management on decision making forums regarding platform choice and utilization where applicable.

- Develop and support (where applicable) both tactical and strategic agenda for above activities. Support development of processes to assure ongoing efficiency, quality and integrity.

- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and the knack to interface with stakeholders across the spectrum.

- Planning, time management & resource management skills

- Strong Change management and business reengineering knowledge.

- Positive - can do- attitude, high levels of drive to meet aggressive deadlines and targets.

Impact on the Business :

- Lead diverse line and change teams cross-site and region

- Increased control through reducing manual processing

- Cost and FTE saves through automation

- Effective management and governance of push/pull migrations into KL/Manila relating to Collateral management & Client Valuations. Ensure GFX processes are considered to be meeting the control and service delivery requirements of its stakeholders and improving change capability.

- Typical measures will include: reducing manual processing, sustainable USD and FTE saves, reducing OT, reduction of production errors and losses, improved MI.

- Front Office (Sales and Business Managers)

- Relationship Managers

- Line Operations

- IT (HTS)

- Operational Risk and Internal Control

- BRCM

- Finance - as required for best practice and demise opportunities

- Global Function Heads for the GFX processes including those led outside of KL and Manila from London

- Local GFX SMT and the global change book

- Central GMO change on CI, reporting, site wide activities

- GR (service delivery) Ongoing engagement with stakeholders and delivery of required outputs

- Performance against automation RAG ratings and reducing cost

Leadership & Teamwork :

- Vital to success of role - create and foster one team approach across line operations, GFX and HTS

- Successfully collaborate with Global GFX Change Team and GFX in the GSC

- Lead direct and indirect staff to produce results - creation and adaptation of appropriate governance models

- Drive and support cross-functional stakeholder requirements /initiatives Ongoing engagement with stakeholders and delivery of required outputs

Operational Effectiveness & Control :

- Clean go lives of new processes & systems enhancements, in addition to control benefits.

- Generation of improved process efficiency and sustainable cost savings and reduced line FTE from automation

- Drive implementation of best practice standards across the change lifecycle

- Ability to define appropriate solutions or change initiatives to drive through efficiency improvements or strengthening of cost base Effective implementation/delivery of process and control improvements without impacting on business as usual processes authority)

Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements :

- The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

- This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring.

- Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department.

Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements) :

- The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.

- The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term compliance- embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

- This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.

The individual will work with process owners in the GSCs and the Change Leads to establish the CTB for GFX

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role - not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.) :

- The role requires extensive understanding of Global Banking & Markets business, excellent process and control acumen, alongside evidence of ability to influence cross-functional / divisional stakeholders. Proven delivery experience in the GFX/Markets Operations Change space is an expectation.

- Ideally with a proven track record of change and process improvements, alongside evidence of driving both tactical and strategic change agenda / initiatives.
