The Assistant Vice President at Leading Financial Services Provider is a multi-faceted role requiring the individual to work closely with and manage a team of Analysts and Associates and report to a Vice President.   About Leading Financial Services Provider:  - Company is a leading provider of high-end research, analytics and other customized financial services including valuation, financial modeling, research, portfolio management etc.   - Founded in late 2006 by 2 ex-Merrill lynch bankers  - Strength is ~ 200 people and growing its client and revenue base at 50%   - Strong global client base - Primarily Private Equity firms. Some boutique investment banks and corporates  Responsibilities Assumed:   1) Project Management:  - Understanding and preparing quantitative analysis to represent financial instruments and transactions such as financial models and valuations, industry/equity research, and merger consequences  - Determining the scope of engagements, delivering project plans to clients, managing timelines, and driving deliverables through plans  - Being efficient in managing the effective execution of all key aspects of client deliverables  - Working closely with New Associates while acting as an advisor to the client in addition to being a problem solver  2) Managing Client Relationships:  - Acquiring knowledge of clients- operations and general strategy  - Building and managing relationships with existing clients  - Understanding the overall goals of the transaction and client relationships  3) Team Management and Leadership:  - Mentoring, training and developing the juniors  - Effectively managing team issues  Prerequisites:  - Strong grasp of various aspects of finance and an analytical ability   - Commitment and ownership  - Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task  - Ability to meet client driven deadlines (demanding hours requiring time management skills)  - Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)  Candidate Experience:  - An MBA in Finance with minimum of 5 years of work experience, or  - 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree in any field  Growth Opportunity:  - Steep learning curve and a clearly defined career path  - Subsequent promotion to Vice President accompanied by significant increase in responsibility and compensation  Compensation:  - Commensurate with industry standards  - Annual increase of ~20%  Job Location:  - Andheri (E), Mumbai
