Assistant Vice President - Employee Relations Investigations and Policy - HR

Tasks and responsibilities of the role include the following :

- Undertake HR investigations across multiple geographies

- Key contributor to the ASP and GSC / Tech ER teams, supporting colleagues as necessary.

- Providing specialist and strategic ER support to the ASP and GSC / Tech ER teams.

- Supporting the range of ER activities, including advising on complex matters, managing complex cases (e.g., at appeal), undertaking sensitive investigations (e.g., in respect of senior individuals), supporting strategic projects and programs (as appropriate).

- Point of escalation, guidance, and oversight on ER cases for other ER colleagues.

- Establishing sound and constructive working relationships within ER and with broader HR function, as well as HRA and HRC teams.

- Proactively instigating change and continuous improvement in investigation ways of working of ER.

- Proactively supporting the development of ER / HRA colleagues.

- The role holder will therefore need to be able to successfully navigate and manage organizational complexity.

- The role offers great exposure to senior HR and business stakeholders. The role holder will be involved in complex but interesting ER activity. The successful candidate will be working as part of a dynamic ER team

- Refer matters, as appropriate, within the organization and work collaboratively with other investigative functions on significant or high-risk issues. Develop formalized controls and handoffs with these functions.

- Case Manager for ER cases (including disciplinary, grievances, legal claims, and complicated employment matters etc.). This will involve conducting independent investigations for complex cases, reviewing, or producing investigation reports, providing specialist advice and guidance to Businesses / Functions, investigators and internal stakeholders within the HR team.

- Manage complex ER and whistleblowing issues and investigations and act as a point of escalation for investigations managed by other investigators within the HR function.

- Provide proactive, appropriate, risk-weighted inputs to HRBP's and senior management on effective resolution of ER matters / effective management of ER aspects of HR matters.

- Guide/supervise, coach, and develop ER colleagues on the effective management and resolution of the full range of ER matters. May include providing formal training and periodic technical updates to client/stakeholder groups.

- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a HR management information system, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels.

- Effectively engage and manage relationships with legal counsels; work on litigation strategy with respect to employment disputes; ownership & accountability for outcomes
