Assistant Vice President - Credit - Wholesale Lending


Our client is a specialized financial institution registered as a NBFC. We are looking for someone for their Delhi office with following specifications:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Financing & Appraisals:

- Evaluate and appraise project proposals related to various sectors.

- Conduct financial, technical, and market feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.

- Structure financial deals, including the negotiation of terms and conditions with clients.

Loan Documentation & Disbursement:

- Oversee the preparation and execution of loan agreements and related documentation.

- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the disbursement process.

- Coordinate with legal teams to resolve any issues during documentation.

Project Monitoring & Follow-Up:

- Regularly monitor funded projects to ensure compliance with the agreed terms and conditions.

- Conduct site visits and meetings with project promoters to assess progress.

- Identify and address early warning signals to mitigate potential risks.

Financial Analysis & Loan Portfolio Management:

- Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements to evaluate the financial health of clients.

- Closely monitor the loan portfolio to ensure timely recovery of loans.

- Prepare and present periodic reports on portfolio performance to senior management.

Recovery & Risk Management:

- Proactively manage overdue accounts to minimize non-performing assets (NPAs).

- Engage with borrowers to negotiate recovery plans and restructure loans if necessary.

- Implement strategies to enhance risk management and improve overall portfolio quality.-

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Maintain strong relationships with clients, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.

- Represent Company at various industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and sustain the organization's brand.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in Finance, MBA, CA, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in project financing and Corporate Lending

Skills:

- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Location: Delhi, India

Age Criteria: Preferably below 40 years
