Assistant Vice President - Credit Risk Strategy Development
Development / review / enhancement of Originations & Account Management strategies like Approve / Decline, Affordability & limit assignment, limit review, authorisation, policy review, score cut-off review etc.
Responsibilities:
- Deployment support & PIR of Originations & Account Management strategies
- Come up with appropriate insights and support the business with meaningful recommendations, based on portfolio trends, market landscape and macroeconomic scenario.
- Strategy monitoring and recommendations thereof
- Support on campaign/growth initiatives
- Delivery of regulatory requirements
- Portfolio deep-dive / adhoc analysis / data investigations & reconciliation
- Strategic MI development for UK Current Accounts & wider Unsecured portfolios as relevant, liaising with stakeholders in Risk / Products / Finance as required.
- Functional guidance, project management and coaching, as well as line Management of existing team
- Negotiation with / expectation management of stakeholders on complex open-ended business problems
- Additionally, the jobholder will coordinate with the Current Accounts / Unsecured Risk area on any analytical requirements to project manage day to day activities, and ensure adherence to regulatory and governance standards for the UK Current Accounts / Unsecured businesses.
- Keep self updated of changes in the business / regulatory environment on an ongoing basis, so as to be able to anticipate customer needs, and support non-BAU projects / ad-hoc analysis as relevant, ensuring key takeaways are clearly articulated.
- At least 10+ years of Analytics Experience with prior experience in managing risk activities in retail lending
- Prior experience in development of acquisition strategy, account management strategy or strategic analysis and portfolio management would be preferred.
- Excellent quantitative & technical aptitude. Ability to solve open-ended business problems.
- Proven leadership track record in dynamic/changing marketing environments
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Strong communication skills.
- B.Tech or Masters or Ph. D. degree in either Economics, Statistics, Engineering or any quantitative area or MBA (with quantitative background)
