AVP - Compensation & Benefits (Fintech/Banking Sector)


Job brief:

- We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager that will establish best practices, attract high-quality manpower and reduce turnover.

- Compensation and Benefits Manager responsibilities include implementing appealing rewards and tailoring benefit programs based on staff needs.

- To be successful in this role, you should have good knowledge of prevalent compensation & benefits practices.

- Ultimately, you will build fair and attractive compensation and benefits plans that help us improve satisfaction and create a productive workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company's strategic plan.

- Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the minimum wages and pay equity.

- Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate colleagues.

- Leverage colleague satisfaction (e.g. using surveys and quantitative data).

- Work on annual compensation cycles with monetary and non-monetary benefits.

- Draft career acceleration plans and familiarize colleagues on the same.

- Structure compensation in ways that will yield the highest value for the organization & best cash in hand for colleagues within the compliance framework.

- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs.

- Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data.

- Worked on Sales incentive plans and variable pay programs for best productivity outcomes.

- Manage HRMS and ensure entire life cycle management of the same.

- Ensure timely completion of HR compliances wrt PF, ESIC, NPS, etc.

- Prepare HR dashboards & manage HR budgets and cost.

- Prepare Board presentations.

- Worked on ISO, PCMM process in HR domain.

Requirements and skills:

- Experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS implementation

- Knowledge of building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels.

- Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems.

- Good analytical skills.

- Advanced excel skills.

- Familiarity with labour legislation.
