We have an opportunity with investment banking in Chennai.
Location - Chennai.
Exp - 15+ yrs
- Manages a medium to large operation with multiple units and/or multiple sites, taking a leadership role in the group, area or function. Typically manages subordinate managers or professional teams. Has accountability for units' financial and operational performance. Develops and implements shorter-term strategies with low-to-moderate financial risk and that could impact functions or activities outside the group. May provide input to the development and implementation of longer-term strategies specific to own units.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts related processes such as Reconciliation, Adjustments, Claims etc
- Thorough knowledge of Visa Operating Rules, Regulations change and other regulatory requirements such as Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, FACTA, REG E
- May lead complex cross-enterprise/ operations projects
- Lead relationships with Global Business Partners of specified LoBs in US/ other regions and will be a key member of the global WCT Operations management team
- Manage line of business processes (operations) with significant financial and operational risk
- Plan, Execute and Responsible for People, Process, Risk, Operational Excellence and other business goals
- Manage budgets at appropriate level
- Manage senior Internal stakeholders including support groups
- People management/ leadership - 50-150 persons; Direct reports (if) at Asst. managers or Managers level
- Decisions made at this level are critical and have potential impact towards EGS & WF
- Global knowledge and good understanding of the Banking domain
- Strong knowledge of GiC environment
- Exhibits strong relationship/ negotiation orientation with senior level business partners globally
- Ability to partner, and experience with Quality, Metrics, Process management/ improvements, and re-engineering
- Experience in or Exposure to Change Management/ Program management/ Solutioning at global level preferred
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision
- Exhibits solid time management skills and works to meet or exceed all deadlines
- Exhibits strong project management skills
- Exhibits appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilities
