Assistant Vice President - Business Development - Executive Search
We are looking to hire a business development professional with 7-12 years of experience in recruitment & executive search space. This is an individual contributor role and focused on new client acquisitions for leadership hiring (retained search).
Responsibilities :
- Research target markets, generate qualified leads and manage client relationships
- Develop proposals, presentations & negotiate final deals
- Partner with senior stakeholders within client organizations in determining and anticipating their human capital requirements
- Build a comprehensive sales plan detailing opportunities, closing date and revenue projections
- Managing end to end recruitment process from sourcing, scheduling interviews, offer stage, negotiations, joining and billing.
- Develop and support marketing strategies
Required Key Skills :
- 7-12 years of business development, sales or recruitment consulting experience with a reputed recruitment or executive search firm in leadership hiring/retained search space
- People friendly and exceptionally strong communication skills to engage with C level executives
- Proven experience in managing end to end sales cycle and demonstrated track record of new client acquisitions
- Entrepreneurial mindset and well connected with key decision makers like CXO suite
- Recruitment experience in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, fintech, renewable energy, artificial intelligence and other emerging sectors would be a huge plus.
- Able to work from home and willingness to travel whenever needed
