Assistant Vice President- AML System Roll Out Financial Crimes Data Governance In Leading bank in Bangalore

Position - Assistant Vice President

Job Responsibilities:

- Multiyear global Financial Crimes Data Governance program to address Data quality for Financial Crimes system and operations.

- To support this program in Asia Data Governance function for BTMU provide the necessary guidance, training, control and Data Management to Data Producers and Data consumers on Key Data that impacts AML/Sanctions Systems and Operations.

Governance:

- Manage regional and branch level working groups.

- Coordinate and guide FCC teams to right project artifact and teams.

- Document and track action items arising out of from regional and global forums.

- Maintain changes to existing Data Governance plan (for APAC) in Asia.

Data Management:

- Identify, track, and advise risk mitigation in the data gaps by analyzing Data Flows, Data Dictionaries.

- Support creation and maintenance management reporting.

- Support Asia Data Governance department to represent for Asia requirements in all Working Groups projects impacting Financial crimes.

Job Requirements:

- Operations experience a must.

- Experience in data review and remediation in FI/Bank environment is highly desirable.

- Experience on Data analytic tools like Alteryx and / or hands-on Python/R is a plus

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Excellent time management and strong discipline in keeping to project milestones.

- Skilled in preparing presentation material for specific forums.

- Well organised and disciplined in maintaining operations documentation.

- Ability to work flexible hours from time to time due to time zone differences

- Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time

- To perform impact assessment of data to systems, process, and operations with key focus on local and regional requirements
