Our client is one of the global leaders in the appliances and hardware category with a diverse portfolio in all the categories of electronic goods. They command a very high market share for their brands both in India and globally. They are one of the most preferred organizations in terms of growth aspects and work culture. Their luxury and premium portfolio has been witnessing a steady increase of 22-25% YOY. In light of this endeavor, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Regional Manager focusing on channel sales, based out of their office in Mumbai handling the appliances portfolio.

In this role, reporting to the National Sales Manager - the incumbent will be responsible for :

- Responsible to meet topline regional sales target

- Supervising and assisting the area/territory managers in enlarging the geographic territory for the product portfolio

- Coaching and developing the sales team

- Responsible for developing the regional sales plan alongside the business head

- Appointment of dealers and maintain long-standing relationship with dealers and distributors

- Increasing the visibility of the brand through displays and branding

- Monitoring new products innovation and continuous territory mapping

- Reviewing and tracking sales performance to identify issues and opportunities

- Conducting dealer competency mapping

- Periodically monitoring the performance of dealers and updating customers about new releases

- Being responsible for the sales operations of the designated regions

- Researching and analyzing product demand/market trend

- Coordinating with area managers on hiring and training requirements

The successful candidate should be :

- A Graduate in B.E/MBA with at least 8-10 years of experience in Channel Sales with in-depth knowledge of premium and luxury products, knowledge of the market and the ability to assess the market potential and take necessary action.


- The incumbent should come equipped with a customer centric approach and must have the ability to establish long standing relationships.

- The individual must come with high energy and zeal besides strong communication and interpersonal skills.
