Job Description :
- Handling Stat compliance
- Handling Disciplinary proceedings and legal matters
- Managing ESP (Employees of Service Providers) ER
- External liasoning with local authorities as well as regulatory bodies
- Managing services like Transportation, Uniform and Canteen
- Managing employee events like retirements, elections etc
- Employee Relation & Union related matters,
- LTA,
- Participative Management,
- Discipline Management,
- Custodian for all Labour Related Statutory Compliances, Legal cases / issues related to labour,
- Contract Labour Management,
- Grievance Handling,
- Alternate Disciplinary Management,
- Employees Engagement Activities,
- Public Relation & Liaison with Government Authorities
- Canteen Management, Medical Benefits and I/C for Canteen & Ambulance Room.
Knowledge and Business Understanding
- Statutory compliance, Welfare & Cultural Activities, Canteen, Charitable Dispensaries for the welfare of the employees as well as society, Occupational Health Room, Union & IR Matters, Workers Training, Suggestion Scheme, Audits ( TS - 16949, TPM, ISO - 14001, OHSAS - 18001), Sports Activities & Grievance Handling
Role Requirements :
a. Education/Qualification : An MSW /MBA- HR / PMIR with requisite experience as a Welfare officer in a large Manufacturing plant. Additional LLB qualification is a big plus. The qualification of WO should be as specified in Karnataka Rules of Factories Act. Should be comfortable with Kannada.
b. Experience :
- 7-12 years- experience in ER in Unionized environment
- Command on local language (Kannada)
- Worked in manufacturing in Bangalore (preferably) or Karnataka
Salary : Around Rs. 20.0 LPA (Although not a limiting factor)
