Assistant Manager - Banking & Financial Services
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Will be working / practical knowledge about operation of certain service industry of BFS segment such as PMS, MF, AIF, Wealth Management Offshore funds etc.
- The candidate should have the ability to analyze, compare, and interpret facts and figures quickly; and be able sound judgments based on this information.
He / She should have good oral and written communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, leadership and people management skills.
- Business understanding, systems and computer skills are required.
- Accuracy and the ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision are important.
- He / she should not have major constraint for travelling outstation.
- He / She should be in a position to lead the team of at least 4-5 juniors under him and guide them. Also may have to report to partner directly
Vital :
- Experience in Bank & Financial Institutions particularly in wealth management firms, depository or capital markets

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Has working or audit experience in middle and back-office operations of Wealth Management Firms, Mutual Fund AMC's, AIF, Depository or Capital Markets etc.
- Should have thorough knowledge and understanding of investments and securities.
- Should be abreast of the SEBI and RBI regulations applicable.
- Supervision and responsible for quality and timely delivery of all engagements within financial services practice
- Internal SOPs and methodology to be kept updated.
- Define and manage appropriate key performance indicators to ensure delivery of work, as agreed with key stakeholders.
- Strengthen the delivery capabilities of the practice by training and mentoring the team and adhering to professional practice requirements.
- Release alerts and thought leadership articles at regular intervals.
- Partner with Business Solutions resources for automating processes thereby building efficiencies.
- Knowledge of Wealth Spectrum / Miles software would be preferable.
