Job Description : This role requires leading the data visualization projects for the D&A Ops reporting team. The role as visualization lead includes business engagement, prototype creation, dashboard development. It also acts as a visualization SME to ensure adoption and application of Unilever design principles in all the dynamic front end solutions delivered through D&A operations.

Description :

Projects / Changes:

- Lead E2E engagement visualization projects delivered from D&A operations.

- Design wireframes for dashboards to be built basis UI/UX guidelines.


- Review and sign off the designs created by 3P vendor teams before it reaches customer.


- Identify potential performance issues and proactively tweak the design for best performance. If not have a transparent discussion with stakeholders asking for their support.


- Accurately estimate the resource requirement and onboard resources in advance to avoid delivery delays.


- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure CRs are applied in a controlled way.


- Should maintain high level functional and technical designs; sign off design of Change Request (CRs) from Power BI design perspective and oversight all the build and test activities based on that design.


- Responsible for putting root-cause analysis together for critical incidents impacting usage of platform with vendor resources and AM teams.


Run Escalations:

- Single point of contact for customer/stakeholder for al concerns

- Should ensure all BAU deliveries are 99.9% accurate. No OTIF drops.


- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure CRs are applied in a controlled way.


- Develop a good network across Unilever teams especially service desk operations, Technology services and Collaboration services to support in license and installation of applications user base


Continuous improvements and Innovation:

- Should be part of all continuous improvements in BAU through regular checks, planned services, actions out of root cause analysis and KEC.

- Works with relevant vendor resources, global functional SMEs, business engagement teams and infrastructure resources where relevant.


- Co-ordinates improvements on the performance of the tools and reporting solution


- Bring innovation on the table with support from vendor partners and 3rdparties

- Have outside-in perspective to deliver best solution at optimal cost


Profile :

- Minimum 7+ years of exclusive experience in PowerBI platform.

- Awareness of Unilever visualization guidelines and front-end design principles


- Experience using Power BI with wide variety of sources and combining information from them, including Microsoft Project Online, SharePoint, Excel and SQL Database.


- Building a data model and creating complex DAX measures and calculated columns to derive best possibly insight into data.


- Building and maintaining dynamic row-level security into data models and implementing best practice to administer permissions.


- Understanding of data sources and how they operate, to produce queries with excellent performance and minimal use of cloud resources.


- Process knowledge in business project management


- Team lead with managing team of 5+ people including 3Ps with different skill sets across globe


- Experience in showing Proof of Concepts (PoC) and understanding business requirements


- Strong Information reporting background and good to have In-depth understanding reporting tech stack


- Exposure of Agile project management and DevOps team culture


- Experience of working in Global environment and managing global teams


- Working knowledge of Azure, ADB, ADF


Preferable :


- 6 to 8 years of relevant- experience.

- Experience in FMCG/Manufacturing Unit/KPO/IT Industry

- Understanding of Financial and Accounting Concepts, Azure platform, Python

- Advanced MS Office application skills .i.e. Power BI, Excel-Power query, vb script, word and PPT.


Education :

- Professional qualification in Finance/Supply chain/Marketing

Desirable :

- Prior experience in handling a large team.

- Understanding of business drivers, processes and metrics for the finance, supply chain or market function.
