1. Export:

- Checking and Submitting the Export documents to a bank and provide necessary instruction to for collection/discounting.

- Submission of Credit Period Extension letter to Bank/RBI

- Reconciliation of RBI Data/EDPMS with bank and Company.

- Sharing the DHL number to the export department and recording bank reference in control file.

- Formulating strategy to take Pre shipment/post shipment in Foreign Currency or INR.

- Reconciliation of bank balance as on month end with our books and week on week of packing credit/post shipment to ascertain limits available for discounting.

- To Explore to take packing credit-pre-shipment.

- To work out interest for the month Packing Credit/Discounting and working out necessary adjustment for prepaid interest.

- Controlling export debtors and raising alarm for overdue debtors. Sending reminders and follow up with the overseas office on regular intervals.

- Forex cover to be obtained as per forex Policy-(policy need to be framed).

- Checking the interest charged by the bank on discounting -is it properly charged-

- Fixing the exchange rate at the time of rupee discounting with the dealer.

- Tracking the currency rate and forward premium on a daily basis and check whether the bank has applied the correct rate and charges. (we can save substantial cost on this sometime bank are charging excess amount) one has to be vigilant and it needs to be checked regularly.

- What is a number of export charges bank applies for handling each doc. Is there a chance of reduction. Need to tabulate all relevant bank charges with reference to Export.

- In case of crystallization it should reflect in well in advance in our day wise planning. So that necessary decision to fund account can be taken.

- Forward contract booked and a list of an unhedged portion of export.

- Maintaining of the proper files and keeping the document in place and Submitting original documents to the bank.
