Assistant Manager- Trade Sales for Allied products -Bangalore
Job Description:
As the Sales and Distribution Manager, your role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including distributor and wholesaler management, sales target achievement, marketing initiatives, business development, and customer service.
Key aspects of your role include:
Distribution Network Management:
- Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and direct dealers in the region to expand the distribution network and generate sales leads.
- Evaluate existing distribution channels and address any gaps to optimize market coverage and reach.
Sales Management:
- Maintain a balance between primary and secondary sales, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement schemes for both primary and secondary sales to incentivize distributors and dealers and achieve quantity and value targets.
Product and Pricing Knowledge:
- Possess a deep understanding of product quality, unique selling points (USPs), pricing structures, and discount schemes to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
Payment Terms and Financial Security:
- Manage payment terms (credit/cash) with distributors and dealers while ensuring the security of funds and adherence to financial protocols.
Below-the-Line (BTL) Activities:
- Plan and execute BTL activities such as in-shop promotions, wall/shutter paintings, flex displays, dealer certificates, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, and other promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
Dealer Engagement:
- Organize dealer meets and plant visits to foster stronger relationships, address concerns, and provide product training and support.
- Collaborate with influencers such as architects, interior designers, contractors, carpenters, and builders to build brand advocacy and generate leads.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Demonstrate a proactive "go-to-market" attitude to achieve sales targets, leveraging market insights, competitor analysis, and strategic planning.
