Assistant Manager - Technology Research

- Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies, climate tech, and sustainability-related trends, and articulate their impact on sectors, business functions

- Identify new trends, and topics and articulate why is it important for company and its clients to take note, through proof points

- Look for patterns and build insights, question assumptions, and frame hypothesis

- Help develop research proposals by suggesting research topics, providing research support, and formulating research plans

- Manage projects with minimal supervision from ideation to delivery

- Communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely in writing and presentations to highlight distinctive points of view

- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions; surface ideas while holistically understanding the project requirements and company offerings to propose effective solutions

- Demonstrate cross-industry knowledge; can propose initial ideas or add-on to ideas that could be of interest to firm leaders

- Liaison with global and India team members to understand requirements and prioritize work

Skills:

- Excellent strategic thinking and knowledge of strategy development, competitive strategy, and scenario planning

- Outstanding core consulting skills - i.e., analytical, primary, and secondary research, presentation, and (superior PowerPoint and Excel), including logical structuring and storytelling

- Ability to synthesize large sets of data and integrate them into meaningful and intuitive reports and recommendations

- Knowledge of sustainability and climate change technologies, trends, and business issues is a strong plus
