Assistant Manager - Tax Technology

- Managing project lifecycles, governance, communication, delivery, and post-delivery study of effectiveness.

- Applying best in class practices for business analysis and requirements capture by effectively identifying assessing, documenting, and communicating business requirements for in-scope deliverable to technology for multiple clients.

- Strong understanding of business processes including the O2C to P2P cycles and basic understanding of Tax set up in different ERPs.

- Strong familiarity with key tax regulatory requirements under GST/Customs and various compliance positions affecting the Tax Technology products and their impact on clients including strong understanding of Einvoice, Ewaybill, multiple reconciliation under GSTR2A/2B and the entire filing cycle of GSTR 1, 3B, 6 (ISD returns), GSTR-7/8 (TCS/TDS return), GSTR-2X acceptance of TCS/TDS credits including Vendor reconciliation processes.

- Managing the translating business requirements into test plans and overseeing the development and testing of those changes including managing the project life cycle through SoW> business workshops >BRD>UAT and Go-live.

- Strong experience in managing Demo/POCs of all Tax technology products including the effective use of other Tax Technology tools like Alteryx, Power BI, RPA etc.

- Delivering innovative solutions that improve client experience and increase efficiency to the firm by way of adopting new technologies.

- Acting as the bridge and one point contact between Tax Technology Team, Product team and Client (amongst others)

- Developing and maintaining long-lasting collaborative relationships with clients to adopt to multiple tax technology offering of the firm.

- Organizing and managing communications with stakeholders and senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

- Specialised in Finance including basic idea of how IT works for taxes. (CA,MBA etc.)

- Previous experience of project management / business analysis experience

- End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, and change management

- Proven communication skills - both verbal and written

- Exceptional analytical skills to understand a diverse array of products and complex end-to-end workflows

- Proven organization and planning skills

- Detail-oriented with a control mindset

- Ability to manage unstructured situations and ambiguity

- Flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for owning actions
