Assistant Manager - Supply Chain
Essential Duties And Responsibilities :
- Overall responsibility and ownership to co-ordinate assigned artworks-serialization manufacturing-logistics-customer communication and related areas of projects for EUROPE and USA
- Align with specialist functions (i.e. Regulatory, Serialization, Supply Chain, QA, Artworks, Strategic Sourcing, Portfolio, IP, Commercial Operations).
- Own Supply projects in terms of manufacturing schedules, launch and supply schedules, critical steps, risks and timelines
- Anticipate, Identify and Escalate Supply issues timely finalization of artworks, timely availability of materials for production, discrepancies between POs and Supply quantities, etc.
- Drive, track and/or facilitate resolution of issues through action and results oriented approach
- Understand and participate in Company's internal processes connected to Supply management (e.g. Artworks, Serialization, Production, QA, Logistics, Documentation, Commercial Partners, etc)
- Manage and coordinate QA approved ex-works supply of product from CMO sites
- Ensure all QA approved product documentation is maintained in order and shared as per agreed timelines with commercial partners or their representatives
- Coordinate with Finance and accounts to ensure each supply is invoiced accurately
- Ensure each delivery is accompanied with full set of documentation
- Ensure consistent pre-approved communication with commercial partner Supply-chain managers about by market launch overview, supply and timelines
Experience and skills requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in a scientific disciple such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or other health related field.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry required.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry with product supply to Europe and or US
- Openness to Learn
- Strong and proven practical experience of project management and project planning
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to assess risks, to summarize complex situations in exhaustive list of action items and where appropriate, to recommend contingency plans and to mitigate risks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within remote multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
- Ability to work effectively in a detail oriented highly demanding environment to meet agreed goals and deliver successfully on commitments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively understand and accurately communicate messages of colleagues for whom English is not the primary language
- Familiar with a variety of pharmaceutical concepts, practices and procedures
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to persevere, collaborate and interact effectively with a variety of personnel including senior management
