Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Qualification: M.E /M Tech [Power System Engineering/Power System Operation], BE in Electrical Engineering or MBA in Power Management / Energy Management / Power Systems

- 1-3 Yrs. Exp in Planning, Forecasting, Business Analysis in Power sector/Renewable Energy /Energy Sector

- Strong understanding of Strategy Regulatory and power Market fundamentals with a Curious mindset with a strategic perspective.

- Thorough knowledge of Power Systems, Power Regulations, interest in Power Studies Also Stay updated and research about the current Power Industry & Power Ministry, Regulations, New Markets, Functionalities.

- Advanced Excel proficiency with practical experience in financial, business, and price forecasting models.

- Excellent Spoken and Written communication skills.

- You should be comfortable reaching out to and interviewing the company's management, employees, and customer base.

- Key Responsibilities - In this role of Assistant/Deputy Manager in Strategy & Regulatory Department responsible for

1. Strategy & Regulatory Expertise: Stay up-to-date with Policy & Regulatory changes in the Indian Electricity Sector, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.

- In-Depth Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth Research and Analysis of price discovery mechanisms, order entry features, and scheduling of transaction, matching logic, and allocation logic to enhance the efficiency of our exchange platform.

- Contract Innovation: Analyse new Contracts to be developed and introduced in the Exchange platform e.

- Carbon market, Resource Adequacy, longer tenure Contracts, and Renewable energy catering to the evolving needs of the market.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and to develop new lines of business, data analytics and data management for implanting/introducing new Contracts/business lines of the company

5. Stakeholder Engagement: Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about near-term growth, generally and in reference to specific growth initiatives, through focused group meetings and/or interact in one-to-one discussions with stakeholders

6. Enhance Offerings: Analyse Research Reports, Policy Documents, and Regulatory Orders to identify modification /course corrections to be made in existing Contracts and/or new business areas to position Exchange as a solution provider to meet market participants' transaction requirements.

- Collaboration with Market Operations & IT: Associate in the development and testing of new Contracts and features in coordination with Market Operations and IT team.

- Quantitative Skills Development: Develop and sharpen quantitative skills required for conducting simulation activities, ensuring accurate decision-making and forecasting, contributing to data-driven decisions

9. Contract Repository: Maintain and update information on contracts available in matured Electricity Markets, ensuring our offerings remain accurate and up-to-date.

10. Prepare presentations for effectively conveying complex concepts to stakeholders through important meetings, vis. Board Meeting / Market Surveillance Committee / Business Advisory Committee meeting, etc
