The Strategy Manager is responsible for the development and oversight of the business's strategies in order to support growth objectives while strengthening the business core to develop and maintain a competitive advantage. He / she is expected to support and lead a variety of strategic efforts inclusive of playing a pivotal role in building annual/long-term strategic plans. Makes recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, and internal business process improvement.
Level Specific Accountability :
- Ability to formulate strategy, collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, and leads cross-functional teams in the development of business-wide operational strategies.
- Establishes and reviews key strategic priorities and translates them into actionable and quantitative plans.
- Alongside the senior strategy management, the Strategy Manager supports the strategic planning process to ensure that this process is timely, focused, and value adding.
- Plays an active role to conduct organizational reviews leading to identification of strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate operational effectiveness
- Establishes long-term organizational objectives and develops strategies to achieve these objectives.
- Develops supporting action plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, recommends allocation of resources to work towards these objectives, monitors deployment of approved resources and reviews / refines the implementation of strategies and implements corrective actions if required.
- Applies various strategic frameworks and performs mathematical and statistical analyses of financial, economic, managerial and operational data to assist in planning and decision making
- Prepares written materials such as Business cases, justifications, MIS and presentations for formal / informal briefings, Reviews and updates
- Works with / without the managerial direction from the level above for drafting and implementing the strategic plan for the organization.
We are looking for a high performing individual with an overall experience of around 3 years, with BE, Chemical / Mechanical Engineering with MBA Operations / Marketing from good institutes. Individual need to possess a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional networking & assertive communication skills.
