About Bigbasket : Are you excited about the transformative power of ecommerce in changing the landscape of grocery retail in India? bigbasket is creating milestones in the online grocery market and has recently re-hauled its supply chains across cities to fulfil a majority of customer orders faster. The company's operations have expanded to 30 cities in India, recording about 15 million customer orders per month.

What would you be doing/ Expected from this role?

- Deep Knowledge of product , seasonality

- Extending, the sourcing network, Develop the new belt to improve buying efficiency.

- Ensure the fill rates of LOB, Forecasting & Planning Process

- Develop monthly and weekly Sourcing plans for business and AOP achievement

- Close Coordinate with other stakeholders - Operations, Quality team,Regions, PPC, Transport .

- Updating team about Daily price bench marking & Market Intelligence for different source.

- Optimize the buy price, price deviations, Quality deviations

- Assortment expansion with new innovation like product sourcing and selling architecture.

- Close watch on Customer complaints and B2C returns.

Who are we looking for?

- Strong Excel, Power Point, Knowledge of Data Analytics will be added advantage

- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

- Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills

- Excellent relationship builder with strong positive attitude

- Ability to both plan and execute

- Challenge and negotiate with Farmer/Vendor/Service provider where required while maintaining

- positive relationship

- The Ass. Sourcing Manager Co-own the P&L responsibility for his Product and will be

- responsible for defining long and short term sourcing plans, driving day-to-day business activity like

- CC/PPC Operation/Margin improvement/Optimizing the cost, Fulfilling the regional and LOB wise fill- rate

- building and growing strategic relationships with Farmers and vendors

Education - B.sc Ag Or Ms. Ag, (MBA Preferable )
