Position: Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 5+ Years with 2 or 3 years in Retail

Job Description:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Retail Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies to increase walk-in, sales and revenue for our brand stores across South India.


- This position requires a strong understanding of the retail industry and expertise in both traditional (ATL & BTL) and digital marketing techniques. In addition, you will play a key role in analyzing competition, connecting with stores to drive marketing leads, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to drive sales and revenue growth for our brand stores in South India.

- Connect with stores to gather insights, understand their marketing needs, and provide guidance on effective marketing initiatives.

- Work closely with the sales team to set revenue targets and establish incentives based on achieving those targets or return on investment (ROI).

- Conduct regular competition analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Use this information to inform marketing strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

- Responsible for industry competition mapping and price positioning activities to inform marketing strategies and enhance our brand's competitive advantage.

- Collaborate with the graphic designer and content marketing team to create engaging marketing materials and campaigns that align with our brand identity and target audience.

- Oversee all retail marketing activities, including above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL), and digital marketing efforts.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as walk-in growth, sales growth, and customer acquisition rates to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

- Identify new marketing innovations and strategies to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance.

- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail marketing to continuously improve our marketing efforts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with 2 to 3 years in the retail industry.

- Strong knowledge of traditional and digital marketing techniques, including ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive sales and revenue growth.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

- Proficient in using marketing tools and software to hand data in CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving measurable business outcomes.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of the South Indian retail market is a plus.
